This month I have chosen something that is near and dear to me, the Ministry of Motherhood. There are many topics that I could write about, but rather I would like to point you to a book that I keep on my nightstand which bears the same title. The Ministry of Motherhood, following Christ's example in reaching the hearts of our children by Sally Clarkson. She writes about giving our children the gifts of Grace, Inspiration, Faith, Training and Service. I have read it and I re-read it because it is how I bring myself back to what is important in theirs and my lives. Our days can be filled with so much tedium from school to after school activities to bedtime that many days we need to re-focus. I recommend her books to any mom (or dad) out there that believes that motherhood isn't just a job, it is a calling.

Also, I have mentioned in the past about one of my favorite blogs to follow is wearethatfamily.com, but there is also another one that I find inspirational and that is seeds of faith for the Christian mom.

Heavenly Father, Give all of our children a sense of calling on their lives that they might desire to serve you with their whole hearts. Amen
